The FreshPax System is your turn-key solution; it combines the advantages of FreshPax Oxygen Absorbing Packets with the proven reliability of our APA series of dispensing equipment.
FreshPax Oxygen Absorbing Packets are designed to protect packaged foods and other products against spoilage, mold growth, color change, rancidity, loss of nutritive values, and loss of quality. Manufactured in packet form using food grade ingredients, FreshPax Packets irreversibly absorb oxygen inside sealed packaging to less than 0.01% and maintain this level.
FreshPax Packet Dispensers are designed to run FreshPax Packets exclusively. The tightly integrated system ensures the highest quality. Additionally, smart dispensing technology transmits data, such as lot number, manufacture date, and quantity, from the packet spool to dispenser, easily integrating information into your quality system.
FreshPax Packets protect or extend the shelf life of many products within their packaging. An unwind chamber is used during packaging operations to prevent capacity loss. The unwind chamber provides limited protection for prereaction. Our APA-series of FreshPax Packet dispensers are available with optional automated nitrogen purge with related nitrogen supply & oxygen level monitor or alarm. FreshPax Packets can be dispensed using:
FreshPax packet dispensers are compatible with a variety of packaging line configurations, including horizontal flow wrappers, multicavity HFFS, VFFS, bottling lines, thermoformed pouching, and other layouts. The dispensers are made using only the highest quality sensors, drive mechanisms, and cutters. All of these capabilities add up to higher efficiencies for your packaging operations.
