Air Conditioning

Corrosion of air conditioning (AC) or refrigeration systems’ internal components is a result of the ingression of water vapor. The water vapor in combination with some refrigerants provides the mechanism for corrosion to form, which effects system performance and overall system life. The prevention of the corrosion is resolved using our DesiForm® Thermoformed Desiccant Bag.  

Our DesiForm® Thermoformed Desiccant Bags are easily installed and can be integrated with automated assembly lines for reduced labor costs and increased production efficiency.  In integral receiver-dryer condenser (IRDC) systems, DesiForm bags provide excellent protection for the design life of the system. DesiForm are available in various molecular sieve grades and weights for compatibility with the specific type refrigerants specified for each application. DesiForm bags are available in a wide range of sizes and are available with leak detection capability for OEM system diagnostics.
