Calculations through Operations® Program

Calculations through Operations® Programis a quality by design (QbD) based program that takes a holistic approach to determining sorbent requirements by examining the entire development process from design through dispensing.  Results from pseudo-empirical modeling programs, SimulSorb™ and SimulOx™, are used to customize traditional or IntelliSorb® Intelligent Sorbent Formulations in Drop-In, Fit-In, or Built-In formats that are paired with their corresponding APA-series dispenser to deliver a tailor-made, turn-key sorbent system.

Drop-In, Fit-in, Built-In

Traditional sorbents and IntelliSorb Formulations are available in Drop-In, Fit-In, or Built-In formats.

Drop-In - Offers moisture, oxygen, and/or volatile protection within drug, drug/device, or medical device packaging. Drop-In formats consist of a traditional desiccant or oxygen absorbing packet or canister. Drop-In products include StripPax® Packets, StabilOx® Packets and Canisters, MiniPax® Packets, SorbiCap® Canisters, NatraSorb® Packets, and Multiform CSF® Canisters.

Fit-In - Integrates a secure fitting sorbent into the medical drug/device or product packaging. Fit-In products include Multiform CSF® Compressed Sorbents, Multiform CSF® Flip-Top Vials, and DesiMax® Self- Adhesive Sorbents.

Built-In - Incorporates the sorbent formulation directly into the thermoplastic structural components of the medical device, enhancing the physical and functional properties of an existing molded component of the medical device. A wide variety of Built-In products using our PolySorb® Technology are available, including PolySorb® Flip-Top Vials.
