Drop-In, Fit-in, Built-In

Traditional sorbents and IntelliSorb® Formulations are available in Drop-In, Fit-In, or Built-In formats.

Drop-In - Offers management of moisture, oxygen, hydrocarbon, or other gas within food packaging. Drop-In solutions typically take the form of packets. Drop-In products include: FreshPax® Packets, FreshPax® S, FreshPax® CR packets, StripPax® Packets, and MiniPax® Packets.

Fit-In - Eliminates loose sachets as the sorbent virtually becomes part of the packaging. Fit-In solutions include: FreshCard® Oxygen Absorbing Cards, FreshMax® Self-Adhesive Oxygen Absorbers, FlavorMax® Flavor Transfer Patch, and DesiMax® Self-Adhesive Sorbents.

Built-In - Incorporates the sorbent formulation directly into packaging material for containers and films. Built-In solutions include PolySorb® Sorbent Components and FreshPlus® Films.

Clean Label Technology Solution

Multisorb's clean label technology allows the packaging to be the preservative. The internal environment of the packaging is controlled by:

removing oxygen, which reduces the need for preservatives and
maintaining the equilibrium relative humidity (ERH) within the package, which keeps food at its desired moisture.

Clean label technology helps streamline the ingredient list while maintaining shelf life; preserving color, taste, aroma, and mouth-feel; and preventing spoilage.
