ASSOCIATE SHIFT LEADER
An entry level position to lead and coordinate manufacturing operations, ensuring production is performed in an efficient manner and that safety, quality and production standards are met on all 3 shifts, as needed. The main shift will be 8:00a - 4:00p, but availability for coverage on the 4:00p - midnight and midnight - 8:00a shifts is required. When not overseeing a shift, this position will provide focused leadership and direction for key projects and initiatives within the organization. Requires an Associates degree and 1-3 years manufacturing supervision experience.
HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT
Performs a wide range of human resources duties, including interviewing and screening applicants, filing, recordkeeping, preparing reports and counseling employees. Requires a Bachelors degree and 1-3 years human resources experience.
FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN -- ACTIVE-PAK AUTOMATION DIVISION (APA)
Responsible for supporting APA equipment at customer's facilities. This work includes new installations as well as service work on existing equipment. Training of customer personnel in operation and maintenance of APA machines is a key aspect of the position. Associates degree in a technical field and 2 - 4 years of experience required. PLC experience is also a must.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT GROUP LEADER
Organizes and directs research and development efforts for the Company which includes defining and pursuing new active and intelligent technology directions, bringing new technologies to fruition in the form of new product, process and package designs; as well as designing active technologies into Customers’ product or package. Requires advance degree with multidisciplinary training in both science and engineering. Also requires 7-10 years research, development and design of packaging and preservation systems and 3-5 years supervision experience.
R & D - DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Coordinate the proper application of current product and active packaging technologies to specific customer needs; conduct product and process development and test programs in support of the company’s expanding technology, marketing and manufacturing efforts. Bachelor degree in packaging, plastics or mechanical engineering and 3-5 years development and scale-up of technical packaging products/sorbents required. Familiarity with polymer converting operations, a plus.
PRODUCTION OPERATOR
Set-up, operate, maintain and repair a variety of electrical/mechanical equipment according to pre-established procedures and guidelines. High School Diploma or GED required, along with 1 - 3 years of relevant experience. The two shifts currently available are: midnight to 8:00 am or 4:00 pm to midnight.
PRODUCT LEADER - FOOD SECTOR
Lead the development of new product lines, product line extensions and modification of existing products for primary packaging applications. Understand food degradation and spoilage mechanisms associated with organic and biochemical properties. Interface with customers in support of sales opportunities for product application and solutions. Communicate with manufacturing engineering, production and sales/marketing concerning product design and performance standards. BS in biochemistry or microbiology and 5 – 7 years experience with food science/food packaging required. Advanced degree preferred.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE – FOOD SEGMENT
Perform technical sales and service for assigned food market. Develop existing accounts to maximum potential, increase sales and profit margins and penetrate new accounts. Requires Bachelor degree in a technical area and 1 – 3 years technical sales experience in the food industry.
ACTIVE PACKAGING TECHNOLOGIST
Develop & apply active packaging technologies to new & existing products, conduct product development & test programs within R&D. Bachelor degree with training in both Packaging & Food technology, along with 5 – 7 years development experience in active packaging required.
