Multisorb Technologies first received ISO 9002 certification in 1996 and registered to the QS9000 Automotive Quality System Standard in 1998. In the same year, Multisorb, already certified to ISO 9002 standards, became the first packaged desiccant company to achieve ISO 9001 certification, the most comprehensive ISO standard, covering all elements in the design, development, and production process. ISO 9001 certification establishes that all aspects of Multisorb's packaged sorbent operations, including the design process, have been assessed and registered as meeting the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Through this accomplishment, Multisorb maintains its status among an elite group of companies that have achieved world-class quality by meeting the requirements of ISO 9001.
Since 2003, Multisorb has maintained certification to the process oriented ISO 9001:2000 standard for all products. In August 2009, Multisorb Technologies received certification to the updated ISO 9001 standard, ISO 9001:2008.
In 2004, Multisorb’s Telford site received ISO 14001:2004 certification for demonstrating sound environmental performance by controlling the environmental impacts of our activities, products, and services. ISO 14001:2004 serves as a framework to help companies, such as Multisorb, develop a successful environmental management system.
Bureau Vertias Certification, an ISO-9001 and ISO 14001 registrar, conducted the audits and awarded the certifications, which cover the design, development, manufacture, and distribution of sorbent products for the Healthcare, Food and Beverage, Electronic, and Logistics and Industrial Markets.
