The APA 9000 Canister Dispenser is a high-speed automatic dispenser capable of dispensing rates up to 325 canisters per minute. The APA-9000 can be used to dispense SorbiCap®, Multiform® CSF or StabilOx® canisters in a variety of lines including: bottling, VFFS, flow wrapper, thermoform and pouching machinery.

The APA-9000 is equipped with an Allen-Bradley PLC. The dual gravity feed bowls are fed from dual respective hoppers with a cleated conveyor and offer FIFO dispensing control. Each hopper is designed to accommodate a full 4,000 canisters from a single pail or box. Each gravity feed bowl is run alternately to ensure FIFO control and to minimize exposure and related loss in capacity of the sorbent canisters. For bottling applications, the- APA-9000 dispenser offers a servo-motor operated bottle indexing screw for precision operation.

Proof of insertion and canister count reconciliation are offered as standard. The color touch screen HMI is mounted on a pendant arm for easy operator access.

An optional dry air system is available for SorbiCap® and Multiform® CSF desiccant canisters, as well as inert gas purge for StabilOx® oxygen absorbing canisters. Both provide a controlled atmosphere around the canisters from the hopper through the point of dispensing to allow for extended exposure time of the canisters during commercial packaging operations.
